Day 4 at Camp St. Croix was one for the memory books! The day started off strong with a full rotation of exciting camp activities—archery, swimming, horses, and outdoor cooking to name a few, which kept everyone moving and smiling under the warm summer sun.
But just when the campers thought the day couldn’t get any better, a surprise slip ‘n slide appeared on the activities field! Shouts of joy echoed across camp as kids raced, slid, and laughed together, cooling off and soaking up every second of the unexpected water fun.
Dinner brought another treat—Pizza Night! Campers shared slices and stories, in anticipation of the evening ahead: the much-anticipated Cabin Skits & Songs. Each cabin who participated took the stage with creativity, courage, and a whole lot of humor. From silly sketches to heartfelt songs, the performances lit up the flagpole area with joy andconnection.

Then came a special moment. Buffalo Bob, Camp St. Croix’s beloved caretaker, stepped forward and shared an inspiring message about the importance of following your dreams and doing what makes you truly happy. His words reminded us all to stay true to ourselves and to never be afraid of chasing what brings us joy.

We closed the night in the spirit of friendship with an all-camp friendship circle which prompted many hugs between campers. Hand in hand under the open sky, we sang a song about friendship, voices blending together in the warm summer air—a perfect end to a perfect day.

Here’s to dreaming big, sliding far, singing loud, and cherishing every moment of camp magic. 🌟
